So here we are, bouncing back. The neighbours cat visited again today, which helped my status of "bouncing back" as we took a nap together - after he had thoroughly cleaned himself whilst sitting on my shoulder.
So we napped together today in the sunshine while Sean sat nearby playing some version of Assassin's Creed. It is the last day of holidays from my job so I was determined to stay completed chilled (that worked for the most part), while also taking the time to work out my calendar for the next couple of months.
We've got some dresses to make for EC, do some more work on the Classic Collection, and then I have client work for Greenburn and marketing work for CF as well - on top of what is quite a busy social schedule. I can't believe it's only something like 10 more Fridays until Christmas - where has this year gone?
There is a lot of chatter on my FB at the moment, lots of people starting their own "businesses" through "business in a box" initiatives which seem to be focusing on aloe vera based products. I'd been thinking about monetary income/career success/career progression ever since that lunch with my old flatmates - it wasn't the best feeling being the least successful of the group. There is a lot I need to do to improve this, I just need to work out what the next best steps are... Always the hardest part I guess!
I know when I get back into work that my time will suddenly vanish again and time to ponder life's big questions will vanish with it. That's part of the problem as well - not sure where to start and the challenging of time vanishing! What do you think, where would you start?
