It falls off the end of my never-ending pad to get onto my pc and spell out the workings of my complex and normally exhausted brain. However I did feel a bit shady earlier this week when I crept onto weebly and spent a day building a new platform for my bf's online community - I have to admit that it's beautiful, it's annoyingly not on its own domain yet but that's just a matter of time. Have a look at it: www.vitalessence.weebly.com - and if you're super lucky (even I'm not that lucky) you could make it onto the "people you should know" lists!
Apart from my busy day-to-day life which consists of sleeping, waking, dressing, travelling, working, travelling, eating, undressing and sleeping. My days off have been a non-stop rollercoaster of: visiting the seamstress who is putting together the samples for CoT; doing fittings; searching till I'm blue in the face for suitable accessories; fabric shopping and re-shopping; then the normal tasks of cleaning a flat that never seems to be completely clean! I've squeezed bowling trips and dinners in with friends but have gotten to the stage (again) that I'm having to book a month in advance just to find time in my schedule! This feels awfully self-centred, but it is my blog...
I have been doing new things as well though - I've told you we're on tighter budgets this year for birthdays, Christmas and misc. present buying reasons, so I've been getting a bit craftier (no pun intended) about getting presents together. I've also had to be OCD and keep this ingenuis approach on a spreadsheet, because it makes me feel sane.
I've been working on the bf's birthday - I bombed my first idea, I was almost done and then decided it wasn't right. So we're onto my second idea and so far it is going well! I love this idea so much more, it's requiring me to learn/do a lot of different techniques and results in something that can be used in the future, which I appreciate! I've found a great theme to work with and apart from some niggly little things I've cracked it - I would love to spill all the details but he reads this blog (because he's a nosey parker) and I refuse to let him know! Just as he refuses to let me know about his ideas... *grumble*
What have you fabulous people been up to? I'd love to know, it gets awful quiet up in here at times! Even let me know what you think of the Vital Essence website if that's more your thing :) and of course, as always, any great crafty but don't look like it's a craft, present ideas are always welcome! I've sliced my finger with a scalpel once already, I have no fear (that's a lie, I do and my finger still hurts, so be nice!)
Love to all!
